He was predeceased by: his parents, Van John Holton and Lorene Waters Holton; his daughter Sharon Holton; and his siblings, Faye Measles and Ronald Wayne Holton.
He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Simmons (Rick) of Navarre, Florida; and his siblings, Jimmy Holton (Carol) of Norman Park, Van Holton, Jr. (Chloe) of Omega and Patsy Chafin of Norman Park. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home & Crematory (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Omega Cemetery.
