He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jones and Vera Maddox Jones; his wife Sara Grace Jones; his former wife Joann Walker Jones; and his brother Carrol Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Jones Carr (Mike) of Tifton and Patricia Jones Simmons (Neil) of Ty Ty. He is also survived by four grandchildren ad three great grandchildren.
