She was predeceased by: her parents, W. J. "Billy" Butler and Susie Mae Stone Butler; her husband Flavis "Tate" Griffis; her son Stephen Craig Griffis; and her siblings, Gene Butler, Curtis Butler, James Butler, W. T. Butler and Hazel Crumley.

She is survived by: her son Ricky Griffis of Tifton; her granddaughter Lori (Slade Fountain); and her great grandchildren, Jake Fountain and Rae Fountain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
