She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Luster Lackey and Ethel Etheridge Lackey; her husband W. C. "Pete" Jay, Jr.; and her sisters, Tot Lackey, Kathryn Baker and Ruby Gay.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Jay (Donna) of Jacksonville and Ann Trumbull of Baconton; her grandchildren, Billy Jay of Albany, Amie Stanberry (Danny) of Jacksonville, Kim Finney (Todd) of Albany, Joey Trumbull (Hope), Jeffrey Trumbull of Baconton and Lauren Trumbull; her brother Tommy Lackey (Lavania); and also W. C.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
