He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Irvin and Delores Lightsey Boykin; the mother of his children Terri Strickland; and his nephew Joey Boykin. He is survived by: his children, Heather Michelle (Josh Bowles) of Sylvania, Amber Nicole (Daniel Burke) of Sylvania and Daniel Scott Boykin of Oliver; his brother David; his sister-in-law Jackie Boykin of Statesboro; his sister Carroll; his brother-in-law George Wiley of Portal; his grandchildren, Christian, Hunter, Brooklyn, Reid, Cyruss and Reagan; his nieces and nephews, Nicole Wiley, Andrew Partain of Covington, Jamie and Amanda Boykin of Statesboro; and the mother of his child Diane Rountree.
