He is survived by: his wife Otha Shelton; his children, Willie James Williams Sr. (Emma), Mary Louise Adams (Kelsey Sr.) of Washington and Walter Bernard Shelton Sr. (Annessia); his grandchildren, Tanneshia, Japonica, Ivory, Willie Jr., Walter Jr., Kelsey Jr., Alexia, Iman and Ke'Lizzia; his mother Ilois Shelton; his siblings, Canton Shelton (Ethel), Easter Shelton and Tansie Foster; his aunts, Mattie McKee and Elera Strawbridge; his nephew Antron Shelton; his godchildren, Torrence Burney and Robin Waters; and his friends, Thomas Rhymes, Sammie Sneed, Leon Banks, Bobby Moore, Mamie Moses and Randy Hurley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing. Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels.
