He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Rosa Lee Whittington of Washington, GA.; his siblings, Inez and Burrell; his wife Emily Smith Whittington; and his sons, Kenneth Whittington (Marla) and Charles Whittington (Kelly). He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren as well as 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the cemetery fund and/or the youth group at Burt's United Methodist Church.
