He is survived by: his children, Ricky Leon Harris of Chapel Hill, Tabitha Michelle Bustamante (Brian) of Warner Robins and Lisa Carol Nunez (Jesse) of Wilmington, Delaware; his sister Deborah Spivey of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Ricky Leon Hales Jr. (Brittany), Michael Scott Pleasant (Jocelyn), Lauren Aleece Bustamante, Desiree Makayala Bagley, Hannah Aleece Bagley, Eric Kameryn Scott, Gracie Mae Hales and Ava Svetlana Nunez.
