She was predeceased by: her parents, Bundy Lambert Garner and Mattie Lee Strickland Garner; her husband Felton Smith McCarty; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Archdeacon McCarty. She is survived by: her son Bundy; her daughter-in-law Betty McCarty of Milledgeville, GA; her children, Mack McCarty of Oglethorpe, GA and Cheryl; her son-in-law Tom Jenkins of Raleigh, NC; and her grandchildren, Laura McCarty, Monique Acevedo, Lee Leathers, Tommy Jenkins, Lezlee Roach, Wade, Cole, Miranda, Coleman, Bennett, Sara Mac and William.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Cemetery (609 Chatham St, Oglethorpe, GA 31068).
Flowers will be accepted and memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion St.-Luke Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 187, Oglethorpe, GA, 31068.
