With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Joseph Jackson (Oglethorpe, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Parker Sr. Joseph and Julia Joseph; and her husband Mott Plass Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Edward Jackson, Charlie Jackson, Willie Jackson, Nathaniel Jackson and Cordel Jackson; her children-in-law, James Williams and Sarah Jackson; her siblings, Mildred Frederick, Jimmie Lee Alexander, Annie Grace Monts, Estella Crawford, Parker Joseph, Jr., Leo Joseph, Earl Jessie Joseph and Governor Joseph; her children, Helen Williams of Rochester, Emma Jackson of Montezuma, Julia Tookes (Isaiah) of Oglethorpe and Reginald Jackson of Montezuma, Georgia.; and her daughters-in-law, Mary Helen Jackson, Brenda Jackson and Doris Jackson (family: JoAnn Davis, Jacqueline Frederick). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and her church family.
