She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oliver Collier and Ellie Howell Collier; her husbands, Eugene Layfield and W. T. Williams; her siblings, Idaline Dowling, Marriane Caruso and Ricky Collier; and her sons, Mark Layfield and Andrew Layfield.
She is survived by: her sons, David Layfield (Mary), William Layfield (Jane) and Gregory Layfield (Paula); her daughter-in-law Tina Layfield; her grandchildren, Stephanie Welling (Richard), Matthew Layfield (Tess), William Layfield (Nicole), Bradley Layfield (Janelle), Addison Layfield (Caitlin) and Garrett Layfield; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlin Welling, Brooks Welling, Elias Layfield, Ivy Jane Layfield, Nora Layfield, Charlotte Layfield, Winifred Layfield, Grayson Layfield, Aubrey Layfield, Mercer Layfield and Sutton Layfield.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Little Bethel Baptist Church (1180 Little Bethel Rd, Ideal, GA 31041). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
