It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Miller Sr. (Oglethorpe, Georgia), born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Miller; his son Crispen Miller; and his brother Bradfield Miller. He is survived by: his wife Genia Miller; his children, Leon Miller, Jr., Eugene Miller, Sonya Stewart-Williams, Ella Willingham (Michael), Tyrone Miller (Sheila), Edris Lyles and Teia Lyles; his stepchildren, Jesse Jones (Ruthann) and Yvonne Jones; his father Clifford Miller, Jr.; his stepfather Eugene Laury, Jr.; his sisters, Carolyn Miller, Deborah Jenkins, Sylvia Miller Freeman, Delores Washington and Genrose Bray; and his aunts and uncles, Helen Murray, Lula Montague (Tyrone), Arthur Jinks and Wesley Jinks.
