He is survived by: his wife Mary Cosby Hughes of Oglethorpe, GA; his children, Angela Dollar (Randy) of Americus, GA, Douglas Hughes (Jennifer) of Ogden, Kenneth Deese (Frances) of Newton, GA, Melinda Robbins (Al) of Byron, GA and Jonathan Hughes (Chandra Churchwell) of Ellaville, GA; his sisters, Betty Jean Raistrick of Tequesta, FL and Marilyn Thomas of Whiteville, NC; and his grandchildren, Cassidy Mackey, Jamie Downey, Ashley Self, Shawn Dollar, Bethany Hughes, Jessica Reinhart, Ansley Welch and James Perkins "A. P.".
