With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Sanders Gaines (Oglethorpe, Georgia), who passed away on May 31, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bee Sanders and Maggie Ford Sanders; her siblings, George Sanders, Roosevelt Sanders and Laura Ann Sanders Harris; and her grandson Marcus Leshun Cephus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Thelma Malcolm of Lithonia, Burnette Waye (James) of Covington, Wanda Oliver (Gregory) of Oglethorpe and Brenda Able (Elder David) of Warner Robins, Georgia; her sisters, Marie Spikes of Montezuma and Agnes Wright (Larry) of Fort Washington, MD; and her grandchildren, Lakeyshia Cephus (Donde Taylor), Jontavius Cephus, Patrick Germany (Karen), Sonya Lucious (Calvin), Brea Waye, Antoine Malcolm, Veronica Malcolm, Eric Malcolm and Stephanie Johnson. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
