We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2022, at the age of 87, Barbara Starke Naftal of Oglethorpe, Georgia, born in West Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur H. Starke and Mary Frost Starke. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Naftal, Sr. of Oglethorpe, Georgia; her children, Gerald E. Naftal, Jr. of Homestead, Terrence Kevin Naftal of Goodland and Eugenia Strong (Maurice) of Blue Grass, Iowa.; and her grandchildren, Jason Robert Naftal (Heather Ann), Heather Michelle Petersen (Nathan), Crystal Strong Werthmann (Spencer), Priscilla Strong Riley, Katarina Strong, Austyn Strong and Hunter Strong. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Oglethorpe United Methodist Church, P.O Box 427, Oglethorpe, Georgia 31068.
