It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin O'Neil Raburn Jr. (Oglethorpe, Georgia), born in Montezuma, Georgia, who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin O'Neil Raburn Sr. and Sara Coogle Gilmore; his son Neal Raburn (Casey) of Marietta, Georgia; his grandson Luke Raburn; his sister Nancy McCarty (Mack) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; and his nieces, Laura McCarty (Michael Goldsman) of New York, N. Y., Lee Leathers (Ben) of Milton and Lezlee Roach (Dan) of Americus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Mt. Zion - St. Luke Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 187, Oglethorpe, Georgia 31068.
