He is survived by: his wife Diane Benton Murphy of Odum; his children, Patti Holland (Fred) of Jesup and Will Murphy (Machelle) of Odum; and his grandchildren, Michael, Dusty Holland, Madison and Audrey Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
