He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha Knight Forbes. He is survived by: his wife Gwili Purvis Forbes of Odum; his children, Karen Denison (Edward), Katrina Rogers (Jody) and Tommy Forbes (Lisa) of Odum; his stepchildren, Denise Bragg (Dale) of Guyton, Angie Thornton of Jesup and Terry McShan (Ana) of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, David Forbes (Jessica), Eric Denison (Katie), Danielle Forbes, Jacob Rogers and Emma Rogers. He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
