He is survived by: his parents, Kimberly Surrency Newman of Odum and George Stanley Newman, Sr. of Odum; his grandparents, Vernon Aspinwall of Jesup and Vivian Surrency Aspinwall of Jesup; his uncles, Sandra Surrency, Eddie Surrency of Odum, Patsy Benner and Larry Benner of Wilmington; and also, Christy Surrency Ellerbee (Sean) of Monroe and Aubree Benner of Wilmington.
