She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Franklin Tyre; her son Ronnie Tyre; her grandchildren, Michael Moore, Jerrod Tyre and Tiffany James Daniels; and her siblings, Fleming, Vernon, Jimmy, Lamar and Etheleen.
She is survived by: her children, Janice James (Rick) of Odum and Gary Tyre (Jamey) of Jesup; her daughter-in-law Jeanie Tyre of Jesup; her siblings, Faye Griffis of Odum, Dale Anderson (Roger) of Jesup, Ernie Herrin of Brunswick, Herbert Herrin (Joyce) of Valdosta, Bobby Herrin of Jesup, Bennie Hiwassee (Erica) of Odum, Charles "Hody" Herrin (Sharon) of Odum and Ray Herrin (Sharon) of Odum; and her grandchildren, Shane, Justin, Terry, Courtney, Allison, Greg and Ray. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins.
