He was predeceased by: his parents, Clennie Hoss and Ruby Leggett; and his brothers, Thomas and Tip Leggett. He is survived by: his wife Gwen S. Leggett of Odum; his children, Vicky Johnson (Joe) of Monmouth, Oregon and Michael Leggett (Pam) of Jesup; his grandchildren, Nicole Fulker (Luc), Aaron Johnson (Sarah), Ashten Cruz (Omar), Lauren Leggett and Seth Leggett (Tiffany); his great grandchildren, Nick, Kellen, Micky, Harlow, Jacob, Thaddeus, Jeremiah, Memphis and Ronin; his brothers, Ronald Leggett (Carolyn) of Odum and Jerry Leggett (Freda) of Odum; and his siblings-in-law, Doreen Edenfield (Doug) of Jesup, William "Bill" Jones (Sue) of North Carolina and Dwight Roberts of Delaware. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
