He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son John Benton Tyre; his parents, Ernest Tyre and Penny Sapp Tyre; his sister Udeen Bearden; his wife Virginia Tyre of Odum; his daughters, Amanda Farmery (Dave) of Marietta and Anne Tyre of Smyrna; his stepdaughter Amanda Cook (David) of Cornelia; his grandchildren, Thomas Farmery (Michele) of San Diego and Claire Farmery of Marietta; his stepgrandson Jeremy Adams of Los Angeles, Calif.; his sisters, Ernestine Reddish of Hardeeville, SC and Zeda Tyre of Odum; his sister-in-law Jeannette Garnto of Millen; and his nieces, Penny Raymond and Barbara Quinn. He was also cherished by two great nieces and a great nephew; many dear friends.
