She was predeceased by: her husband Verlin E. Carter; and her siblings, Mary, Aletha, Ida, Buddy and Ludwin.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Kegebein (Tim) of Fitzgerald, Steve W. Carter (Jeannie) of Odum, Don L. Carter (Kathy) of Forsyth and Reed Carter of Jesup; her grandchildren, Ryan Carter (Amber), Issac Carter (Meredith), Leah LaFountain (Matt), Derek Carter (Heather) and Clayton Carter; her great grandchildren, Ford, Lilly, Laney, Molly, Kaplan and Sawyer; and her sister Tera Lambert of New Hampshire. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
