He was predeceased by: his son Glenvis Dale Herndon; and his siblings, Edgar Herndon, Rodney Herndon and Shirlene Lightsey. He is survived by: his wife Eteen Herndon of Odum; his daughters, Lynn (Bub Moody) and Patricia (Glendale Sullivan); his daughter-in-law Shanda Herndon of Odum; his sister Betty Griffis of Surrency; and his grandsons, Mony Robert Tomberlin, Heath Herndon, Brandon Herndon and Corey Sullivan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren & one great-great grandchild.
