He was predeceased by: his son Billy "Bubba" Leggett, Jr.; his parents, Lum Leggett and Estelle Leggett; and his siblings, Marie Wall, Janice Smith and Bobby Leggett.
He is survived by: his wife Nita Leggett of Odum; his daughter Pam Powell (Donnie) of Odum; his grandchildren, Cody Powell of Odum and Summer Powell of Odum; and his siblings, Mary Waher (Richard) of Jesup, Wilma Beverly (Steve) of Odum, Charlie Leggett (Brenda) of Jesup, Don Leggett of Jesup and Larry Leggett (Kay) of Jesup. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
