He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Brantley of Washington and Benita Kate McCoy Brantley; and his brothers, Lamar "Cooter" Brantley and Daniel Wade Brantley. He is survived by: his nephew Darrell Brantley; his grandson Sam; his wife Sue Smith Brantley of Oconee; his daughter April Brantley Young (Sammy) of Wrightsville; his grandson Samuel Roy Young; his siblings, Howard Brantley (Ronnie) of Oconee and Dorothy Jean Jones of Sandersville; and his sister-in-law Janis Brantley of Oconee.
