He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Johnson, Carole Wheeler (Richard) and Linda Mathews (David); his siblings, Ossie Vann, Frances Benedict, Macie Vitug and Vernon Savage; and his grandsons, Joseph Dickens, Christopher Dickens, Tom Mathews, Eric Mathews and Noah Keith.
