It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lee Sosbee of Oconee, Georgia, born in Jackson, Georgia, who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy C. Sosbee and Josie Davis Sosbee. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sosbee; his children, Teresa Williams (Buck) of Watkinsville, Darrell Sosbee (Beverly) of Watkinsville and Rhonda Crockford (Keith) of Bogart; his stepchildren, Nancy Mead (Danny) and Bill Ghirardini (Kathy); and his siblings, Marge Burns, Leonard Sosbee, Josephine King, Bevoline Weathersbee and James Sosbee. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.
