He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Darrisaw (Jerome), Lorie Rosier (Andrew), Leon Tharpes (Linda) and Melvin Jackson (Loretta); his siblings-in-law, Brenda Warthen, Gladys Warthen, Margaret Warthen and Lenward Warthen; his cousins, Mattie Wilcox, Joann Hamilton and Gladys White; and his friends, Marcus and Marilyn Hood. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
