She was predeceased by: her sisters, Melba Grace Rowell and Deborah Conner. She is survived by: her husband Larry Bess of Ocilla; her children, Jason Bess, Lauren of Flowery Branch, Jessica Bess Barrios and Sam of Ocilla; her grandchildren, Emmy Bess, Ellen Cate Bess, Lauren Ramsay Bess, Hannah Barrios and Kellan Barrios; and her siblings-in-law, Vera Mae, Herman Smith of Alma, Mattie Young of Wray, Lene Rowell of Douglas, Carroll Young of Wray, Jessie Lee and Hershell Jones of Douglas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
