It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Wydene Tomberlin (Ocilla, Georgia), who passed away on April 2, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Stanley Tomberlin; her great great grandchild Weston Edge; and her siblings, Wycliffe Russell Griffin, Arthur Griffin, Jr., Raymond Griffin, Clarence Griffin, Waldo Griffin, Wendell Griffin, Dot Mizelle, Mildred Davis and Helen Cumbaa.
She is survived by: her children, Deenia (Tommy Whittle), Dorrie (Buddy Woodard), Duree Land, Diana (Matthew Garvey) and Julie Moore of Ocilla; her grandchildren, Mandi Cole, Scarlett, Lance Alberson, Joy, Josh Pate, Tamzy Jane Whittle, Tracie, Kevin Childers, Robin, Seth Brinson, Melanie, James Woods, Andy, Hannah Woodard, Evan, Alison Woodard, Donya Land, Micki, Jacob Edwards, Amber Garvey, Dillon Garvey and Boone Garvey; her great grandchildren, Shelby Cole, Ben Cole, Brady Alberson, Katie Alberson, Laina Lee Pate, Lauryn Pate, Heather Ann Edge, Mitch Edge, Russ Thacker, Gage Fenton, Wesley Fenton, Scotty Land, Wren Edwards, Nate Edwards, Zoey Dru Edwards and Claire Woodard; and her great great grandchildren, Westlyn Edge and Stetson Thacker. She is also survived by the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
