He is survived by: his mother Christine Perkins McAllister; his wife Katrinia Parkerson Beggs of Ocilla; his sons, James Mason Beggs of Florida and Michael Andrew Beggs of Alma, Georgia; his grandchildren, Gabby Phillips, Andrew Phillips, Lauren Beggs and Hannah Beggs; his siblings, Dennis J. Beggs of West Point and Sandra L. Brunson of Tifton; and his stepchildren, Ronnie Hurt and Threasa Chapman.
