She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Middlebrooks and Blanche Wilcox Middlebrooks. She is survived by: her children, Bobbie (Calvin Anderson), Annie (Marion Cooper), Cleo (Dwanda DeBerry), Jeffery (LaShone DeBerry), Beverly Panler of Douglasville Georgia, Dewayne (Kisa Middlebrooks), Angela DeBerry of Tifton Georgia, Latosha DeBerry of Ocilla Georgia, Kelvin (Brittney Merritt), Tawanne (Montre Askew) and Vivian Merritt (Yaliveeya Deberry) of Ocilla Georgia; her siblings, Joe Middlebrooks, Glenda, Willie Fred Walker of Ocilla Georgia and Evelyn Hams of Hattiesburg Miss; and also Rev. James C. Curtis. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
