It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Tanner Sr. of Ochlocknee, Georgia, born in Van Nuys, California, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey Tanner and Barbara Overstreet Tanner; his brothers, Ronnie Tanner and Mike Tanner; and his uncle J. M. Overstreet.

He is survived by: his children, Mitch Tanner (Cortney) of Thomasville, Jasmine Jordan (Carlton) of Byron, GA and Matthew Tanner of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Kinsley Tanner, Ellie Tanner, Amaya Wells and Kyson Jordan; and his sisters, Sandra Rivera (Rolando) of Orlando, FL and Lorene Bell (Ken) of Moultrie, GA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
