She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Hobbs and Fannie Hobbs; her husband Bill Chastain; her daughter Barbara Fielding; her grandson Jonathan Myers; her grandchildren-in-law, Bonnie Chastain and Greg Johnson; and her siblings, Irving Hobbs, Albert Hobbs, Theron Hobbs, Nell Perkins and Leroy Hobbs.
She is survived by: her children, Don Chastain (Hollie), Louie Chastain (Cathy) and Pam Myers (Randall); her grandchildren, David Fielding Jr. (Joy), Donna Fielding Freeman, Scott Chastain (Lindsay), Derek Chastain (Julie), Heather Johnson, Nick Chastain (Lindsey), Chris Chastain (Staci), James Myers (Priscilla) and Bill Myers (Melanie); and also David Fielding Sr. (Margaret). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church (7856 State Rte 188, Ochlocknee, GA 31773). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
