She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Alligood and Kate Stanaland Alligood; her son Brian Turner; and her siblings, Oscar 'Junior' Alligood, Ludie Simpson (Carroll), Margaret Cozart (Ernest) and Jo Gee (George).
She is survived by: her spouse J. R. Turner (Jake); her children, Greg Turner (Marci) of Quincy, Mary Lynn Lewis (Howell) of Ochlocknee, Sandi Turner of Ochlocknee and Chris Turner (Kathy) of Ochlocknee; her daughter-in-law Catherine Turner of Thomasville; her siblings, Bessie Davis of Ochlocknee and Dave 'Buddy' Alligood of Tucson Arizona; her grandchildren, Scott Lewis, David Lewis (Kelly), Christopher Turner, Marshall Turner and Shawn Turner; and her pet Rescue. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Erilyn Read and Caden Read, nieces, nephews.
