He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Taylor and Gladys Taylor (Cone); his siblings, Wanda Braswell and Donnie; and his daughter Susan Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Melton Taylor; his sons, Mark Taylor (Michelle), Stephen Taylor (Angela) and Scott Braswell; his grandchildren, Zac (Brittany), Brannon, Nic and Bailee; and his great grandchild Blakely.
