We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025, at the age of 78, Herman Eugene Sanders Sr. of Ochlocknee, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Roscoe Sanders and Edna Lambert Sanders; his siblings, Latronia Sanders, Danny, Marty, Russell and David Sanders; and his granddaughters, Anne Grace Bannister and Heather Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie S. Sanders; his children, Herman E. Sanders, Jr., Tammie D. Sanders of Beaufort, Cleburn R. Bannister, III (Katherine) and James Alfred Bowers, IV (Jessi) of Thomaville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Chelsea Hightower, Cameron Hightower, Beau Bannister, Sadie Bannister, Jay Bowers and Gage Bowers; and his siblings, Marjorie S. Jordan, Vickie Parker (Steve Fewell), Mary Ann Jones (Mike), Armendia Turner (Troy) and Travis Sanders. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Lives Without Limits at P.O. Box 1652 Thomasville, GA 31799.
