He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Otto Griffin and Francis Bryant Griffin Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Angela Griffin (Angie); his children, John (Amelia), Ashlie Cohen (Bret) and Kim Jason (Kyle); his grandchildren, Isla, Charlie Griffin and Zachary Jason; his siblings, Faye Miller (Lamar), Debbie Mims (David) and Thomas O. Griffin (Michelle); and his stepmother Sara Griffin Childers.
