He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eldridge Hill, Oneta Castleberry and Lillie Pye. He is survived by: his children, Abel C. "Bud" Gay, III, Wendell Gay of Las Vegas, NV, Debbie Stanard of Elyria, OH, Bonnie White of Elyria, OH, Karen Buckland of Elyria, OH and Rita Kundrod of Elyria, OH; and his siblings, Harry Gay of Morehead, KY, Gerald Gay of Irvington, AL and Donna Brown of Thomasville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
