She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Allen and Elsie Miller Allen; her husband Rembert L. Cornelison; her siblings, Leroy H. Allen, Ann Allen Williams (Willis L. Williams) and Roger Allen; and her daughter Melody Ann Trent.
She is survived by: her son Steven A. Cornelison (Donna) of Flowery Branch; her brother George W. Allen, Jr. (Christine) of Hiawassee; her grandchildren, Andy Sheppard, Susan Miller, Patrick Wetherington and Jessica Trent; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Allen and Carolyn Allen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Helping Hands Foreign Ministry, Eagle Ranch, the Hospice program at Northeast Georgia Health System, the Rembert and Virginia Cornelison Scholarship fund at Berry College, or your favorite charity may be made in her memory.
