He is survived by: his mother Jimmie Hallman Edge of Oakwood; his wife Judy Elrod Edge of Oakwood; his sisters, Angie Edge Strickland of Oakwood and Vicky; his brother-in-law Tim Millwood of Hoschton; his siblings, Lisa McClure Dover (Susan Reeves) of Oakwood and Ricky Edge of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Alyssa Chambers (Jacob Williams), Kayleigh Gaddis (Will), Jakoby Reed, Wyatt Chambers, Mason Knapp, Adalyn Reed and Maddie Evans; his great grandchildren, Carter, Ellie, Blakelynn and Beckham Williams; and also Joel Gahring. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park South Funeral Home (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Hill Baptist Church (4100 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Oakwood City Cemetery (4707 Plainview Rd, Oakwood, GA 30566).
