Pinkney Townley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pinkney Townley of Oakwood, Georgia, born in Dawson, Georgia, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Pinkney may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pinkney touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Townley and Florence Townley; and his wife Virginia Townley. He is survived by: his son Chris Townley (Anita Maxwell). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church (1575 Harmony Church Rd, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
