He is survived by: his wife Gladys Dudley Thornton of Oakwood; his children, MSgt Carlos Jones (Tiffany) of Jackson, MS, Patrice Thornton of Jackson, MS, Toni Robinson of Gainesville and Nikiki Willis of Gainesville; and his siblings, Jackie Stewart, Dorothy Chappel, Jimmie Thornton (Sallie), Harrison Thornton (Mary), Jimmie Williams (Edna), James Williams (Pamela), Albert Williams (Michele), Charles Williams (Denise), John Williams (Linda) and Freddie Williams (Julie). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
