She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Swanson and Hattie Shirley Swanson; her husband Virgil Charles Radford; and her siblings, Betty McClure, Ed Swanson, Herman Swanson and Jimmy Swanson.
She is survived by: her son Junior; her daughter-in-law Jeannie Radford of Marble; her daughter Michelle; her son-in-law Dwayne Trantham of Marble; her brothers, Carl (Elaine Swanson), David Swanson of Marble and Henry Swanson of Murphy; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Swanson and Kathy Swanson; and her grandchildren, Corey, Crystal Radford, Evan, Kayla Radford, Joshua, Danielle Trantham, Aaron, Hailey Trantham, Selena Trantham, Alyssa Trantham and Phoenix Trantham.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (50 Allman St, Marble, NC 28905).
