It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Gail Shope of Oakwood, Georgia, who passed away on November 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Holtzclaw and Martha Lavain Chester Holtzclaw; her husband J. D. Shope; and her son Jason Larry Westmoreland. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristi Westmoreland of Oakwood and Stephanie; her son-in-law Walter Hance of Flowery Branch; her grandchildren, Connor Westmoreland, Cherish Westmoreland and Natalie Hance; her siblings, Jean (Jerry Foster), Sherry (Bryce Shook) and Danny; and her sister-in-law Sharon Holtzclaw of Gainesville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Hospice, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Gainesville, GA 30501.
