He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Slaton and Bertha Welborn; and his brother Bill Slaton. He is survived by: his son Heath Slaton; his daughter-in-law Ashleigh Autry Slaton of Buford, GA; his son Hastin Slaton; his daughter-in-law Mara Correia Slaton of Thomasville, GA; his grandchildren, Blakelee Slaton Ayers, Broc Autry Slaton and Sophia Slaton; and his great grandchild Slayton James Ayers.
