He was predeceased by: his parents, John Curtis Owens and Martha Omie Warren Owens. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Owens of Oakfield; his children, David Owens of Oakfield, Wendy Pope (Robby) of Rochelle, Peggy Wright (Mike) of Oakfield and Brigitte Friz (Howie) of Sylvester; and his sister Jackie Childree of Darien. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
