He is survived by: his wife Faye Scott of Norwood; his children, Lynn Scott Goolsby (Burt) of Washington, Georgia, Jimmy Bacon Scott of Washington and Arthur Reid Scott of Norwood; his grandchildren, Lindsey Goolsby Rogers (Brantley) and Burt Goolsby II (Mallory); his great grandchildren, Brantley Rogers, Brogan Rogers, Liv Rogers, Burt Goolsby III, Maylor Goolsby and Annie Goolsby; his brother Samuel D. Scott (Georgia) of Washington; and also Kelli Hayes of Milledgeville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
