He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wyman Pilcher Reese and Mable Johnson Reese; his wife Lawana Utley Reese; his daughter Shannon Reeves (Ryan); his siblings, Sylvia Neely (Pat) and Don Reese; and his grandchildren, Linzie Reeves and Hannah Reeves. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church for the Mable J. Reese Prayer Garden, 7257 Highway 80N, Thomson, GA 30824.
